Poorly made intakes, a boost leak, bad gas, malfunctioning sensors, and damaged catalytic converters are just a few of things that a high quality datalog can uncover. Using the ALTA AccessPORT's monitor function we can also diagnose physical issues. Providing our in house tuners with a datalog from your vehicle allows them to see what your ECU is reading and determine if we can make adjustments to your installed maps eliminating any problems or making them work better. ALTA Custom Tuned Maps are created for vehicles with standard modifications driven under the most common conditions. They are always very helpful and patient, and they always take their time to discuss things and answer all of your questions.Enthusiasts with modifications beyond our Stage 1,2 or 3, aggressive driving styles or living in extreme climates may require maps with an extra level of customization. There is really no downside to the accessport, and you can return to your stock mappings at the touch of a few buttons.Īs always, it's a pleasure to deal with FSWERKS. I commute 35 miles each way every day, and I don't normally drive it hard, so my gas mileage actually improved by at least 1 mpg. The car operates altogether more smoothly, as well. The most noticeable change is the added torque - when you accelerate, it feels like the car is unleashed, and it really moves! I purchased the FSWERKS tune, so the added 75 foot-pounds of torque is quite substantial. The difference in my 2015 Focus ST3 was pretty dramatic. That only takes a few minutes to flash and then you're up and running. Then you can flash any of a number of mappings depending on your situation. When you hook this up to your car, it takes a while (ten minutes, approximately) for it to download your current ECU mappings. The item arrived FAST and the instructions are simple and easy to follow. Makes your ST the way it should have always been! 1000' Time: Elapsed time to 1000' distance.1/4 Mile: Elapsed time and vehicle speed at 1/4 mile distance.1/8 Mile: Elapsed time and vehicle speed at 1/8 mile distance (660').0-60 mph: See where your car stacks up against the 0-60mph times published in the major car magazines.330' Time: Elapsed time to 330' distance.Indicates how well your car is hooking up off the line. 60' Time: Elapsed time to 60' distance. The following Performance Monitors are available: It's like printing off your own time slip any time you want! These are also great tools to help you improve your skills at the drag strip. These are great for showing the performance of your vehicle in the current state of tune with the modifications you have installed as well as helping to quantify performance gains when you make additional modifications. Welcome to your own performance evaluation suite! Measure 0-60mph time, 60 foot and 1/4 mile ET's, and Trap Speed.Įvery AccessPORT has built in Performance Monitors. Some examples of gauges are:Īs you can see from this sampling, some of these monitors would be impossible to duplicate with a traditional auxiliary gauge. Unlike dedicated auxiliary gauges that can clutter up your dashboard, the AccessPORT functions as soft gauges, allowing you to decide what gauges to display. Live Data can function as auxiliary gauges to supplement the stock gauge cluster, or it can be used to help in fine tuning custom calibrations. Any monitor that can be data logged can also be viewed in real time using this feature. Just plug the AccessPORT into the OBD-II port, select Live Data from the menu and choose a monitor to view. There is no need for a clunky PC to ride shotgun with you in the passenger seat. Gauges allow you to view sensor data and calculated values in real-time right on the AccessPORT. Use the AccessPORT as an additional set of gauges to monitor data directly from the ECU. Monitor all the parameters you want to see and customize each layout for street, strip or track. The V3 now supports up to 6 fully customizable gauges with 1/1000 resolution. *Legal only for racing vehicles which may never be used, or registered, or licensed for use upon a highway. Your 91 octane results may be higher than listed above as a baseline of 91 octane fuel may read lower than our 93 octane baseline. 91 and 93 octane results are compared against a 93 octane fuel baseline. *87 octane results are compared against a baseline of 87 octane fuel. The maps designed for 93 octane are the most aggressive. Generally speaking, the 87 and 91 calibrations run slightly lower boost, have a richer fuel curve, and a less aggressive ignition advance map to help compensate for lower octane fuel blends such as those found in Arizona, California, and Nevada and/or less than ideal atmospheric conditions. Power as tested on 2013 Focus ST vehicles using these identical calibrations.
